Meet Tru!
Tru is a sweet 7-year-old, 70-pound neutered Pittie looking for his forever person! This handsome guy has a medium energy level and would be perfectly happy lounging by your side, soaking up belly rubs, and enjoying the occasional Zoomie!
Tru loves people and especially loves a good game of tug-of-war. He knows sit, down, and shake, is housebroken, and is working on his manners every day. He’s also a great housemate - he doesn’t chew up toys or blankets!
Tru would do best as the only dog in the home where he can be the center of attention and enjoy all the love for himself. His previous owners shared that he has not always been comfortable around other dogs, so we are careful about dog-to-dog interactions. He recently worked with a trainer and did very well with correction and commands, and he was able to calmly walk past another dog while on leash. His trainer is happy to provide a free evaluation for Tru’s adopter.
