We start out fostering to save a rescue dog; to give them a chance at a happy life with a forever family. We are ALWAYS successful as we never allow a dog to return to the shelter, but sometimes the furever family ends up being the foster family! Such is the case with HELEN. The Garrett family stepped up to foster a specific dog in a rural shelter. When that dog was no longer available for rescue, they stepped up to help another dog, sight unseen - HELEN. It was obviously meant to be, as the Garrett Family decided rather quickly that "HONEY" as she is now known, had found her home with them! The Garrett's even fenced in their yard so HONEY could run and play, unleashed. Honey is a very Lucky Dog, indeed with a great family and new fur siblings. FAILURE IS A GOOD THING!
