JESSICA RABBIT~ came to YLDR in poor physical shape - heart worms and severe dental disease. Most heartbreaking of all - she was broken. She was terrified; depressed; and kept her tail tucked and her back turned to you. If you approached her she dropped to the ground, and if you moved your hands she flinched as if waiting to be hit. You know, it is amazing what RESCUE can do! While in a loving home, JESSICA RABBIT learned to trust; learned to play again; learned that her humans were not going to hit her; learned how fun it is to play with other dogs. With her heart worm treatment completed and a dental overhaul taking away the pain, she was ready to find her forever home. Well, her foster family just couldn't let her go.
