Yes, failure can be sweet! When a foster home realizes that they have forged a special bond with their foster dog and want to adopt it as a permanent member of their family, we call it a "Foster Failure". SNOOPY, a senior beagle, has been much loved and well-provided for in his foster family with Chris, Joanne, and Athena B. When their forever beagle, Charley, recently crossed the bridge suddenly due to cancer, they knew in their hearts that Snoopy needed to remain with them for the rest of his days. This family is a huge advocate for rescue animals. They volunteer with several area rescues; transport rescue dogs from shelters to rescue; and work in legislative advocacy as well. We know SNOOPY is happy he has found his home - he probably already knew! Thank you, Chris and Jo, for loving rescue animals!
